Sunshine filtered in through the window, comforting her the vest it could, and she smiled happily, for the first time since she was very, very young. But I am getting ahead of myself. We start on a rainy day, 523 years ago, on a Monday, in August on the 21st at 8:35 a.m. It would rain all day, still she stumbled down the slippery bricks, that made the road, and the makeshift sidewalk, by passing the crowds and avoiding passing the puddles of wetness that got flung up at her by passing horse carriages. Her cloak billowed out behind her and she pulled her books closer to her chest to keep the rain off of them. She blinked off the rain from her eyelashes and she shivered from the rain streaking down her cloak onwards to her shirt below.

It's all i have. Any suggestions. It's around the time 1485.

Continuation of Last Post (Copyright 2007-2008)
He leaves, and I sit there, quite stunned. He's Aluciard? Odd. Really odd, mostly because I thought him a little cute. I wander after him, actually jogging, and swear I hear something down a nearby alleyway. I make my way down through the darkness, and there he is, drinking from some human. My eyes widen. Will I become the next course of his meal? Then a thought enters my mind, in HIS voice. 'It's ok Victoria, you are not my dinner' . As if he was IN my mind. I stand there for a few, trying to figure out what just happened. Then I get it. He has mind powers; but that would mean he could read my thoughts. Oh dear. I rush to hide everything, since I am bad at blocking my mind, and think of filling cabinets. He pulls back from his food and laughs, starts to say something, then I take off. I head to Anna's house, knowing no where else to go. I don't want him to know I think he's a little cute. Heck no. I get there panting, and Anna, who had wandered outside out of boredom, waiting for Aluciard to get back, looked up. "Aluciard came to the bar, and now he's gonna read my mind! He can't do that! Filling cabinets!" I shout, quite stressed, Anna raises an eyebrow, "Come over, closer to the house." Anna says, beckoning me over, and I go over there. Apparently Aluciard likes to stalk me, as he shows up not too long afterwards, and smiles and shakes his head, strolling causally to the front door and opening it for us. I back away, "He can't read your mind while you're close to the house or in it, so you're ok." Anna explains, and I relax. "Are we going to stand out here and chat, or are we going to come inside and start the party?" Aluciard jokes. I scoot past him and Anna follows, most likely rolling her eyes. I sit on the couch, glaring at him, "What, I didn't read your mind, you don't have to use 'filling cabinets' you know'" He says. "Then how do you know about the filling cabinets?" I spit at him, a bit angry. "I heard the conversation with Anna, while strolling up to the house." He simply replies. Ugh. Anna, as I have noticed has medium long, light black hair, dark brown eyes that are almost black, a light black shirt, faded black jeans with a black belt, and old black sneakers. She's about 5'6" and has, at the moment, no weapons upon her. Aluciard sits next to Anna, and she seems to LIKE it, oddly enough. "So, if you don't mind Victoria, do teach Anna here the ways of a vampire, I do not know if it is different from mine, since I AM the son of Dracula and all." Aluciard says smartly trying to get out of talking apparently. "Glad to Aluciard." I growl at him through gritted teeth, "You can go out into the sunlight, it will not turn you to ashes, so no worries." She listened intently as I continued to explain. "You can stand crosses, though I'm not sure about silver crosses, I have not tried so. Silver can kill us, and hurt us, so be careful with some jewelry. You can kill or turn people, or just feed, you can even make it seem less painful. It is easy to call them to you, then they shall forget once you are done. You can teleport, by popping in and out of places, but not in front of mortals preferably, for they will not forget as easily. Wooden stakes can kill you ONLY if you are stabbed through heart or head. Garlic does not harm you. You can still eat and drink human foods, it will not harm you, in fact alcoholic drinks will not affect you at all, for you are immortal. I believe I have covered everything." I finished, and she looked content, then turned to Aluciard, who was seated behind her. "Thank you for the lessons of vampires Victoria, now you may go home." Aluciard said, and waved his hand, signaling for me to leave. I got up, and moved a few feet away from the door, then without turning his way, "I would Aluciard, but apparently you DON'T know that I DON'T have a home, because I was THROWN out. Now GOODBYE Aluciard." I angrily spat at him, then with a 'pop' I left to my normal hangout in Transylvania.

As Victoria popped out, I lost the happiness I had gotten from Aluciards closeness. "How was I supposed to know?" Aluciard questioned, looking at me, "You didn't know, but if you don't mind, I will go and find her tomorrow, and I will invite her to stay here, since she was only trying to help, and she does need somewhere to stay." I suggest, knowing full well Aluciard wouldn't like it but would agree. "Very well." Aluciard replied slightly sheepishly. Told you. He reached over and put his hand on mine. Oh my Silver. *Dreamy sigh* "Be careful out there, you've already been hurt once, I don't want you hurt again." he said, looking me straight in the eye, concerned. He reached out with his other hand and stroked my cheek. I so badly wanted to lean forward and kiss his sweet lips. But I held myself back, after all, he was just protecting me, and I had no proof he liked me back anyways. "I'll be sure to Aluciard.", then I got up, "Would you like some wine?" I offered, resisting the pressing urge. "No, I must stay up and do some paperwork, for even as the son of Dracula, it's not all fun and games unfortunately." he replied, then moved over to the kitchen counter, where papers lay in stacks, and quite a few stacks. "You... need some help?" I offered, "No thank you Anna, you would get confused about all this, you get yourself some sleep, I don't need you falling asleep on the job. "Don't stay up too late, ok?" I worriedly said, for I cared for him. "I will be sure not to." he replied, already immersed in his paperwork. I wandered up the stairs, into my room, closing the door all but a crack, so he could peep in if he wished, and I lay down in my bed and buried myself in covers. I lay there, thinking of my close call when he was so close to me. I nearly kissed him. Imagine the trouble that would cause. *Sigh* I turn over restlessly, then decide to indulge myself. I close my eyes and imagine kissing Aluciard, and him kissing back, just to get rid of any problems that could result later. Then I fall asleep and the dream continues my indulgence of making out with the son of Dracula.

%uF064 %uF064 %uF064

One thing I remember Victoria forgot to mention. The fact that even vampires get tired after a lot of staying up late. I was sitting up doing boring paperwork that was strewn all over the kitchen counter, and have been up for several nights straight, and not slept a wink. I knew I could not sleep for two reasons; one being that the thought reading restriction was powered by the both of us, but one person must be awake, and I could not risk people finding our whereabouts; two being I have paperwork to do. I was on the twentieth page of a thousand pages (or more) and my eyelids were starting to droop. I shook myself. We had nothing in this house to help wake my up either, and besides, when a vampire is tired, they will sleep no matter what. Then my eyes closed, and my head fell to the counter and I slept unlike the past days in which sleep was impossible. I did not drool thankfully, for the paperwork would be ruined if so. I did not snore either, so Anna would not wake. Then it came. A dream that I never knew could belong in my mind. I was standing, alone it seemed in a dark room, with only a small amount of light around me. I turned around, only to see Anna, wondering towards me. Why am I dreaming of Anna? Then she moved closer to me. Curiouser and curiouser. Then she moved her face closer to mine. Then her lips touched mine. She moved them, kissing me intently, on purpose. I am utterly confused. But then out of nowhere, I cannot control my heart that seems to actually be alive, and I kiss back. Me, the son of Dracula, the one that's supposed to be protecting Anna not kissing her, let alone making out with her. I wake up after a few minutes of the kiss, and I was literally panting, as if it was what I always wanted. I knew it was my dream, something I had kept hidden from myself, that now my heart had told me by giving me it's fantasies. I rose, collecting the paperwork, then left, not wanting to check on Anna, for plain fear of waking her and her knowing my secret, or perhaps the fact I might kiss her, not in dream, but in life. I would be only hurting myself, for she could not possibly like me. Amy told me to protect Anna. And anyways, when at the couch last night (it is now after midnight), I did touch her hand and had her face quite close to mine, if she liked me she would have taken the chance to tell me or kiss me then. I am truly ashamed of myself. I knew I liked her now. But I also knew she did not like me back. I have been alone for over one thousand years, and she shall not be the one to end my loneliness. Unfortunately. *Sigh* what am I thinking, liking the one I am meant to protect. I might as well head to the bar, and ask Jack what I should do, without, of course, telling him who I like. He would laugh at me. Or scold me. Or try to give me advice.

%uF064 %uF064 %uF064

I was dreaming of kissing him all night. How wonderful it was as well, that my wants had been fulfilled, for the most part. But I do swear I must find out if he likes me or not. And figure out a way to tell him I like him. And perhaps a way to kiss him as well.
Later that morning...
I wake, unfortunately, to an empty house, all the paperwork gone with Aluciard. Damn. It's not like I need to be kissing him, like in the dream then again. Still, I sigh. I meander about, looking for wine and breakfast, but then I remember my non-need-to-eat circumstance, and I instead search out the wine. After all, Victoria did say that my organs are immortal as well. Alcoholic I shall be. At least with red wine. I search high and low, and far between, but none is to be found. I really gotta tell Aluciard to buy some wine. I decide to wander out for a walk, try to find some wine, and perhaps, if lucky, Victoria as well. I felt like I was yelling at Aluciard last night, after all, he needs to be careful with what he says. For the most part. He can say he likes me all he wants, as long as he gets the filter that tells him when to shut up. I grab a cloak, just in case Aluciard catches me outside, he won't want me colder than I already am, plus it 'hides my identity' according to Aluciard. Sometimes he gets a little over protective. Though it's kinda cute to watch him worry over me... though all I need now is the pizza boy outfit. I wandered around town, aimlessly, for I was daydreaming about pizza boy outfits if you know what I mean. I started to get to the part of town where the wanna-be-vampires favorite hangout was. I looked up, just in time it seemed, to see Victoria, with the wanna-be-vampires, as if good buddies. I waltzed over, acting as if nothing was up, and caught the end of the conversation, "So you've been to the Forest of the Crescent Bloodmoon?" asked one wanna-be in trip pants and a skull t-shirt, "Yes, but I had to leave." Victoria replied, looking down at the ground shamefully, not noticing me. I felt a pang of sympathy for her, for she was thrown out of her only home, after all. "Must of have been fun, to at least visit, huh?" I piped up, trying my luck, for I knew she would not pop in front of them. She looked up, then glared, but I returned a worried look, and her glare lighted a bit. I doubt it would have if I were Aluciard. "Yes, it was nice to visit, though I wish I could of stayed." she replied, "Who wouldn't want to stay?" asked the same wanna-be from earlier. "Yes, but why did you have to leave, if you are careful, they would not even notice you, unless you are not sneaky enough for them." I questioned, wondering what kind of lie she would make up know. "I am unwanted at the vampire community, except for food, so what is the point of risking my own life?" she asked back, unbelievably telling the truth. I smiled, "It does make since. Would you perhaps care to talk to me alone, if you don't mind?" I asked, hoping she would not decline me. She glared all the same, "Very well, good bye my fellow vampires, I shall talk to you again someday." she said her goodbyes, and they all said bye, see you later, and such. They seemed quite pleased with the 'fellow vampires' comment, for it was always what they wanted. She wandered over, away from the wanna-be group, and over to where I stood. "What is it that you want from me, is it not enough to be thrown out of my only place to live, for trying to help, then insulted as well?" she angrily growled, "Listen, he didn't know, so don't yell at him, yell at me, I didn't tell him. I came here to tell, or actually, ask, if you would like to stay at our house, and don't worry Aluciard won't bother you anyways." I offered, hoping she would not snap and me and wonder off, but to my amazement, "Very well, I am tired and need rest, and am not to happy with the present company, who know not what I am, and only think me as one of them." she said. Here I thought she liked them. Another pang of sympathy as I realized she had no friends either. Guess she just made one. I think. "Follow me, I'll show you your room and you can get your must needed rest. We made our way home, and I opened the door once we got there, "Thank you." she said, then entered, standing in the hallway patiently. I lead her up to one of the guest rooms, one room away from mine, and two from Aluciard's, he didn't need her getting overly pissed at him and getting revenge while he slept. Which reminded me, as she went to her bed and lay down and I shut the door, was the fact that Aluciard was still out. To tell the truth I was a bit worried. Which was pretty stupid, I mean he's been out for weeks on end, and here he's gone for a few hours and I'm stressing out. Great. Watch him come home and I tackle him and kiss him to death. I sprawl out on the couch, and fell asleep, dreaming of pizza boy outfits, sweet lips, and, of course, making out. If you know what I mean.

%uF064 %uF064 %uF064

I had made my way to the bar, and sat down. I set the stacked papers beside me, for I sat at the end of the bar, and I could fit the papers to the left of me, without getting something on them. Jack looked up, surprised, then wandered over. "So what's up Aluciard, you seem distracted." Jack questioned curiously. "I... fell asleep doing paperwork, and I had a dream," I tried to continue, but Jack interrupted, "Ohhh....a dream... of what exactly?" he questioned. "Of someone I like, that I didn't know I liked. I know so because we were alone, and she kissed me and I kissed back happily, then I woke a few minutes later, panting." I finished, leaving out the detail of who exactly was this dream about. "Sounds like you like her, but just who is this her?" Jack curiously put out. Of course here it comes. The scolding, laughing, or advice, or perhaps all of the preceding. "It happens to be, sadly enough, for she will not like me back," Jack looked at me angrily. Either he was impatient or hated my non-optimism. "She is... *deep breath* Anna." there, it was out in the open. Silence. I'm waiting. "Well, after all the protecting her, what do you expect, you've been good friends for so long, she goes and becomes immortal, a perfect match for you, I mean you've been alone for... what is it over a thousand years?" I nodded, surprised, but he continued. "And you get lonely Aluciard, you really do, you mope around, and she's the only one close to you that cares about you, and you think you ain't gonna like her. It's common sense you're gonna like her, just accept it. Figure out if she likes you, then if she does, kiss her. If not, well, to tell the truth Aluciard I don't know what to tell you if she don't like yah." Jack finished, dashing the slim hopes I had of him helping my dilemma. "I know Jack, but I just don't believe she likes me, but if she points it out, I shall, for once in a thousand years, be happy. If not I shall be as sad and lonely as I have ever been." Jack sighed, then wandered off to serve other customers. I looked out the window at boredom, where it was well past Anna's stir from bed, and it was know raining outside, but through the rain and my hopelessness, I saw a familiar face that brightened my day. Hector, with his black hair down to his shoulder blades, a white shirt, gray jeans, black boots, and eyes that changed from gray to white, depending on his mood. He was once Dracula's demon summoner, but had joined the Revolt, as I had, and defeated his master and my father. I got up, grabbing the paperwork and showing it in my coat, and wondering through the rain to welcome an old friend.

%uF064 %uF064 %uF064

I stirred as rain pitter-pattered against the window and my indulgence slipped away into the abyss. Victoria was up, and at the window, in a chair, facing the window, backwards in the chair. I looked over her shoulder, but could not manage to see past all the rain outside. "It is raining cats and dogs." Victoria simply said, "Yes, and can't see a thing out the window." I replied, she looked up curiously, "Why do you need to see out, there is nothing out there to worry about." how little did she know there was. She looked back to the window, dismissing my silent reply. Then a knock sounded at the door. We both looked up. I wandered over, and answered hoping intensely, and most likely, without much use for a pizza boy outfit. I opened the door, and there stood Aluciard, in normal clothes (Damn) and Hector (?).

%uF064 %uF064 %uF064

Of all people I did expect to see at the door, Hector was far from the list. He had, after my parents had been killed, raised me, and was quite dear to me. I had a crush on him once, and most likely, still did. He did still look cute, if possible, cuter. As soon as he walked in, I hugged him tightly, since it had been years from the last time I had seen
him. I even happily screamed "Hector!". Yep I still had a crush. I was jumping up and down for goodness sakes. I am pathetic sometimes. "Ok, ok Victoria, calm down." Hector cooed, or so it seemed to me. He seemed happy to see me. Very happy. Yay. "I never thought I'd see you again, Hector! I missed you!" I shouted happily, "I didn't think I'd see you again either." he replied, sounding as surprised and happy as me. "He always pops around, visiting this old house, after all he is Hector, the demon summoner of ours." Aluciard said, then patted Hector friendly on his back. What? But that can't be the same Hector. Not my Hector. My Hector raised me like a wondrous father, kissed me goodnight, rocked me to sleep, chased away my nightmares, healed my wounds, not summon demons for Dracula! "I think you guys are a little confused, this isn't Dracula's demon summoner." I said with a bit of nervous laughter, "Victoria, it is I, Hector, I am your caretaker and Dracula's demon summoner all in one." Hector replied, confirming my disbeliefs. "I never knew... you never told me. Why Hector? Why?" I questioned, wondering why. Did he not trust me, was I not his adopted daughter in a way, his sister, someone dear to him at least? Or was I just some person he helped out some long time ago that he didn't care about? "I never thought to, it didn't seem all that important, you were so small and helpless, and when you grew old I had to leave. I would have told you Victoria, I really would have if I had had the time." he explained, and I calmed and hugged him again. I needed the comfort. I'd been through an eventful week. He patted my back and chuckled, "you're still as silly as ever." he said chuckling and pulled back from the hug, still holding me. If only he would kiss me, but I couldn't do that, not in front of them to the guy who took care of me...too...weird. He finally pulled away from me, and he wondered off, chatting with Aluciard, and Anna offered to take me to the room I'd be sleeping in. She showed me upstairs, and I made it comfortable. It was better than a rock or alleyway I'll admit. I fell on the bed, oh so comfy as it was, and fell into a sweet, deserved slumber.

%uF064 %uF064 %uF064

Hector seemed a lot happier since we had last met, he seemed full of vim and vigor. Maybe the time away had helped, I did not know. There was something I did notice, when hugging Victoria, he seemed to need the comfort, want it, more than I knew Hector would want from the person he had almost raised as his own. Perhaps something had changed Hector, changed him more than I knew he could be changed. We chatted about things we always talked about, discussing the simplest of things, never meaning any thing. I even began to tell Hector or Anna's turning, and my new found dream, and feelings. He listened, "You should try Aluciard, perhaps after all these years of solitude, you have found the one that will end the pain." he seemed so sure in saying that to me, that I felt so determined, but I would wait a bit at least. I told him where he would be sleeping, and left him be, for I still had that paperwork to tend to.

The Blazedale and Bastia Files (Copyright 2007-2008)
I sit, bored and wondering many different thoughts, mostly whys and hows, even if I know the whole story. Many things have happened, and I am the sole one who has been there from the beginning, for every pondering detail I have retrieved from memory or simply others memories. The title gives history within its self, Blazedale; I give you what would be a dictionary definition of it, which it probably is in a dictionary, though Amy's dictionary.
Blazedale: A long line of Vampire Hunters, dating back to before the occurrences of Dracula, they hunt and kill the living dead, or vampires and werewolves, for a living, and also because the first Blazedale, in 1123, aptly named Silver Blazedale had his wife and children murdered by vampires, and in his fury, discovered he had a powerful magic, and made a whip (Esmeralda) that has been passed down generation by generation, made out of nothing, and then a few generations later, a sword (Vaneer) is also made, both previously and presently used to kill the living dead, though mostly vampires.
The other name within the title finds its history in me, Victoria Bastia. When I finish the last sentence on the last page of the final part of the story, and add the period, I shall read it aloud to those who have lived it. I owe quite a bit to these people and am glad to tell their and my story alike. So I shall begin...
Part 1: The Transylvanian Beginning
A blazing, sizzling sun sat high in the sky above Transylvania and the streets buzzed with tourists, looking for the bloodsucking vampires the city was famed for, the people that lived in the town also traveled these streets and rolled their eyes at any tourists and wanna-be-vampires. The occasional vampire could also be found, for daylight harms them not, and since there are vampires, there is also the occasional vampire hunter. Then again one should expect such things, especially since the Forest of the Crescent Bloodmoon was a neighbor to the town, which from the air looks like a moon with a darker part shaped like a crescent, and inside there is a small clearing; the vampires in the clearing, the were-creatures in the crescent, while all else was desolate. In between this forest and the city sat, after some space, a small heap of rocks, old chopped wood, and occasionally some small pieces of litter. At this exact moment, with the sun gently swooping over with its hot, furious glare, on top of an immense rock that was bigger and quite slab like, weathered down over the years. Upon this rock stood glancing knowingly in the direction of the sun, though not directly into it, a person with long, black hair, billowing serenely in the wind, and along with it flowed a black trench coat, with small odd pockets inside and out, under the trench coat followed a simple black shirt and black jeans. The face seemed to be squinted tightly, looking for something, then loosened up and smiled, a perfectly white, straight set of teeth. The eyes glimmered, and shone yellow, and her long black eyelashes curled gently, following the gentle inclination of her eyebrows, her small red lips curving in knowing, and her normal nose sniffing for the scents she knew she'd find. The smell of fellow vampires, though worse ones than her, for the ones making their way to the city, were cold-blooded killers, and preferred to scare, torture, massacre, murder, and obliterate humans and weaker vampires. The more the better, the gorier the better, and vampire hunters were a delicacy to them, something special to catch and turn to their side, something to quickly and swiftly give them the one thing that would make them hate themselves or go insane over: the immortal life of the undead creatures they themselves hunted most, especially the Blazedales.
In the far distance, sure enough, walked three figures towards the town, shadowed by the light, one leading, while the other two followed. She knew that there was a vampire hunter in town, Anna Blazedale at that, and she knew she had to try to help; see not all vampires are bad as the stereotype suggests, there are good ones, though she is being good in a bad situation. She jumped off the rock quickly and began to walk as fast as she could manage without 'popping' (vampires teleport more or less from one place to another, though when they do, they make a popping sound, quite like popcorn, especially with a large group; if they teleport in front of people, they'll hear it and see it). She hoped she could make it in time, she didn't need an immortal vampire hunter on her hands, particularly a Blazedale, for the Blazedales were said to defeat Dracula himself, and have his son, Aluciard, as an ally, and perhaps even Hector, one of Dracula's very demon summoners. She soon enough rushed into town and skidded out of an alleyway, onto the sidewalk, getting a few sideways glances and mutters, but she was too busy making her way to the middle of town, where'd the bad ones would make their way to. In the middle of town sits a pub, neon signs, beer, and people hustled in, out, and about it, and though unknown to the vampire outside, protecting her almost, inside sat Anna Blazedale, and she saw the small commotion the vampire had made, and looked out suspecting her. See every vampire and vampire hunter has what is called an aura around them, different colors depending on the person, and of course both vampire and hunter can see them, and each can tell the difference between; its' like a small light or swirl of color around them, though some can hide it, the vampire outside was doing a bad job in such a rush. Anna got up and paid the bartender, Jack, and began her exit to see what this vamp (nickname for Vampires, which they find quite offensive) was up to in the middle of town; unfortunately Anna knew not about the three getting closer by the minute, that were looking for her. The vampire steadied herself and readied herself for the fight she knew would guarantee to harm her and possibly kill her, for the vampires making their way closer, were around five hundred years old, and had the infamous title they deserved; their names were Carl Mattson, Lee Stone, and Drake Culpepper. The vampire looked around to see if perhaps, out of extremely bad luck, Anna was there, and to the vampires' dismay, Anna was just making her way out of the pub. In a hurry of what would be considered some bit of stupidity, the vampire ducked behind the nearest trashcan. Anna, making her way to the corner, raised one eyebrow, but continued on anyways, after all this was something that didn't happen often, in fact, it didn't happen at all. "What are you doing?" Anna questioned, but her answer was the continued frenzy of trying to hide behind a trash can; the vampire did this because, one she probably posed a threat, and two the other guys weren't specks, they were distinguishable now, and each had an evil smile beginning to form. The vampire continued to try and duck, hide, and see, which was not working out well at all, and the bad guys were getting o' so closer every second. Pedestrians began to scurry in fear, for even they knew who that troop was, and Anna moved her attention from the one hiding vampire to three, "Carl, Lee and Drake, I see you've come for a fight from me." Anna said, nodding to each one at the mention of their names. "Of course Anna, we always do..." Carl hissed out and grinned evilly, "And with an unfair troupe of three against one?" Anna questioned meticulously, "It's fair when you are so very talented, my dear..." Carl said with emphasis on 'so very', as if in sarcasm. "Of course it is Carl, it always is." Anna replied back, quite hotly, and at this point Carl took a step closer and extended a hand, "if you are in that sort of mood then, lets just get it over with..." Carl dismissed angrily while suggesting a fight, to the hiding vampires extreme alarm. Anna was ready for a fight, even without the normal comfort of the whip and sword, and Carl, Lee and Drake smiled together as one, malicious at that. Anna swung forward and Carl leaped forward to his delicacy, Drake and Lee were fought off by a shimmering purple (lilac colored) shield that seemed to come from nowhere. The other two stopped fighting and smiled at the hiding vampire, "Too late I'm afraid, frightened one, you failed quite badly, and we'll make sure you're not welcomed home..." Lee said with a small gleam of fanged teeth, and then they both simply took off quickly down a dark alleyway. Carl pulled back from the fight and smiled while a bloody teeth and tongue moved around his bloody lips, then he smiled, "Tough luck hunter and traitor, I won..." Carl gloated then followed his friends down the alleyway; meanwhile Anna was holding a hand to her neck, and blooded fingers soon fell along with their owner. "Damnt." the once hiding vampire cursed out, and went forward and touched Anna's trickling blood flow, "They won all right, now I'm out of a place to stay, and have an immortal vampire hunter on my hands." she continued vexing the three from earlier, then picked up Anna's limp body from the ground, and took her to the nearest place she could find. The vampire fixed Anna up herself, for no heartbeat Anna couldn't go to a hospital right now; after she was done, she left her there, she didn't know where Anna lived, and had no place of her own, so she imagined that Anna could find her way back. "I tried Blazedale, I tried." the vampire guiltily said, then left with a 'pop'.
(To another person=?)
I woke with a yawn and stretched and blinked confusedly at the surroundings. 'Where am I?' I thought, trying to remember what had happened, but nothing came to mind. I looked around, figuring the surroundings would hint at what had happened. An abandoned warehouse greeted my searching eyes. Some light filtered in from an uncovered window and I now knew it was daytime. I reached up and dusted off one of the widows and received a hand caked in dirt, grime and dust; I then looked into the window and found my reflection staring back at me. I looked tired, for there were dark circles under my eyes, and I looked sick as well, for no reasons I could happen to think of. I knew so by the paleness of my skin. It wasn't to light out, perhaps early morning, around 4:30 in the morning. I tried again to remember and this time something actually came to mind. I remember being in the bar, then seeing a vampire come sliding in and standing in the middle of town. I went out to investigate this vamp and it kept ducking behind the garbage can oddly enough. Then Carl Mattson, Lee Stone, and Drake Culpepper showed up and started a fight. Then his friends ran off, and then I passed out. "Why did I pass out though?" I mumbled to myself, thinking, but nothing came to mind. 'I gotta be heading back to the safe house before Aluciard (Ah-lou [as in louie]-sea-ard [as in card]) becomes suspicious' (he doesn't worry about her, just becomes suspicious). I left the abandoned warehouse and made my way back to the mansion secretly hoping Aluciard wasn't in a mind reading mood. Oh yeah I forgot to mention, Aluciard can read minds; I really don't need him house arresting me. Seriously he'd restrict me to the house and that would really suck. I reached the mansion without intrusions upon my thoughts; though he was waiting for me when I opened the door. @$%#, He could know already. Or just be welcoming me home... I hope. "Where were you at Anna?" Aluciard said in an angry tone, with a sneer in fact. He DID NOT look happy. In fact he looked quite pissed. Oh &$#@. "I was... hunting all night!" I tried to lie convincingly. All I could think was 'let him believe me or I am going to be in SO much trouble'. He continued the angry look but moved back to let me in, 'thank Silver'. He closed the door behind him "You should get some sleep, you look as bad as me, what with the paleness and dark circles, looks like you're sick and tired, at least up for more than one night. Partying here while I'm gone are we?" Aluciard joked, but still looked suspiciously at Anna. "Yeah actually, tons of parties, thousands even. Good night Aluciard, I really can't stay up and answer your questions right now, save 'em for later, *yawn* I'm bushed" I said with a forced yawn, quite quickly. I pretty much ran up the stairs, nearly tripping over myself three times, then stubbing my toe on my bed, after all it's hard to judge when you're SO tired. Then again wildly jumping away from the son of Dracula doesn't help me any. Silence. Crap. Now I can't sleep. And you know what sucks the most? I hear footsteps and I'm breathing way to fast to be sleeping. I try to calm my breathing. The footsteps are getting o' so closer. DAMNT. CALM DOWN! *Deep breathing*...*fake snoring*...*suppressed laughter* great now I'm in for it... or he'll think I have breathing issues...Silence. The door creaks open. Oh crap. I'm dead. Dead, dead, dead, dead *fake snoring that sounds a little to fake*. Man I gotta learn to act better. Shoulda had a glass of wine first, then again Aluciard would probably be suspicious all the same, after all I'm supposed to be tired. Silence. "Good night Anna." he said quite simply, non-annoyed, un-angry, non-gritting-teethness. He's NOT angry??? HUH? I heard the door close and the footsteps headed off to the front door and then the sound of the door opening and closing echoed. Silence. Thank Silver. Now for some wine. I threw the hot covers off of me and headed downstairs to the kitchen. I know what you're thinking; how come I didn't wait till I was sure Aluciard was LONG gone. Well, the house we're in prohibits it. He can't read your mind as long as you're in the house. Handy huh? I open the fridge and squint into the light and reach around for the wine. Still reaching. Searching. Still searching. Were the hell is the wine??? I close the fridge hard enough it rattles a little bit. Odd. It never rattled when I closed it before. I guess I'm angry cause I can't find the wine. I open cabinet after cabinet. Nothing. Some boring cobwebs and some dust. I keep forgetting Aluciard don't eat. That's it, I'm going out to get some, just gotta be sure I get in before Aluciard gets back otherwise the non-angry Aluciard is gonna be real-angry son of Dracula. Which isn't good. A knock sounds at the door. What the hell? I didn't order pizza! And Aluciard doesn't knock. Unless... he has the secret job of pizza delivery boy! Now that would be funny, the son of Dracula has the secret job of pizza delivery boy. He would be cute in that uniform... WHAT THE HECK AM I THINKING! HE'S THE SON OF DRACULA, AND EVEN IF HE IS GOOD, HE'S STILL A VAMPIRE AND I'M A VAMPIRE HUNTER! I can't think that kind of stuff. Maybe I really am tired from so much partying...oh look the pizza's here for the next party! The knock came again and I reluctantly opened the door just a crack. It may be day, but it's a dark house and now the bright sunlight limits my vision to the welcome mat. Yeah we have a welcome mat, what's wrong with that? We wanted to be kinda normal you know. ANYWAYS. Getting off track. I opened the door and held a hand up to my face for some shade. Then my eyes finally focus. Long black hair, flowing black trench coat, and kind of pale looking. A little familiar, though I can't place it right now. "Hi Anna." the stranger said, in a tone kind of like Aluciard when joking. Talk about quick flashback of who THAT is. "Wait a minute...I know you, you're that vamp who kept hiding behind the trashcan!" I shouted, remembering how SHE lured me into a trap. The stranger chuckled lightly. What is so funny? "Yes Anna, that is I." The stranger replied. "Which means YOU'RE the one who lured me into a trap, so Carl and his stupid vamp buddies could have their little fight!" I accused. "I didn't lure you anywhere, you came of your own accord, and I wasn't trying to get you in that mess, I was trying to SAVE you from it!" the stranger said angrily. "Save me? No vamp tries to save a vampire hunter unless they want them for themselves." I argued, not believing her lies. "I still did, for the most part, they went away, but I paid a price for your..." the stranger looked down almost guiltily and then trailed off. "They went away because I fought them off..." I said, curious about the strangers unfinished sentence, "I fought them off with a shield of my own, though Carl got past...and did take his prize, and I, thanks to trying to save a Blazedale, get thrown out of a place to stay." the stranger made me all the more curious with the prize of Carl's. "What prize are you talking about, he got nothing of mine..." I trailed off only because I really couldn't remember whether or not he DID get something. "You know not hunter, of your current state?" The stranger questioned, sounding, to my annoyance, entertained by my cluelessness. The stranger chuckled lightly at my puzzled expression, "You call me vamp, but yet look at yourself, then look at me, we are not much different now, thanks to Carl, the son of a @#$%&, happened to make his way past my shield, and to your side. Now you, Anna, without sword or whip, were easy prey. He took you and bit hard, drinking you dry. You fell and I took and fixed you up, then putting you in a familiar abandoned warehouse, since I knew not where you lived till now, I left feeling guilty and quite angry at Carl and his buddies, for they banished me for my try at protection of our natural enemies. I tried to save you Blazedale, but I failed, you are now an immortal vampire hunter, the same as I, or your friend, Aluciard I believe his name is." the stranger spoke angrily in places, guiltily in others, leaving my mouth dry as flashbacks followed her every word, and I then realized the stranger was right. The stranger looked at me, and then I freaked. No idea why, but I ran past the stranger, down the street, to the nearest wine store. My dismay wasn't helped by the fact that I felt slightly thirsty. I told myself it was the want for wine, not blood, this was all a dream, I am fine and ALIVE. Not dead. No. Not dead. I bought the wine and ran out and popped open the bottle to a lot of stares that judged me as alcoholic. Which I am not. I don't drink THAT much wine. Only maybe a whole bottle, a bottle and a half, maybe two bottles. Not too bad. I drank some wine gulping it down, and the thirst went away, slightly. There was still some trace of it left. I looked up and realized the sun was getting close to getting over the buildings (earlier it was just bright outside, the sun isn't fully out yet). Aluciard was going to be heading home. And I don't wanna turn to ashes (that's what happens to vamps when they die), just in case. I ran home frantically and almost literally flew through the front door (the stranger was long gone, thank Silver) closing it roughly behind me. Odd yet again. Almost died (uh, ok, tripped all the way down, if I am a vamp) on the stairs, then wildly closed the door to my room, and landed on my bed in one crazed movement. I pulled the covers over my head and calmed my breathing. I literally yawned. I heard the front door open and I was officially awake again. The front door closed and footsteps sounded up the stairs as he wandered into the kitchen, then back out and up the stairs. I closed my eyes hurriedly and faked snoring a little bit. Not too much this time though. The door to my room opened and I peeked a little. DAMN no pizza outfit. NO! BAD THINKING! HE'S A vampire... but so am I... does that give me free right now? NO! HE DOESN'T EVEN LIKE ME! Bad thinking! "Anna, Anna, Anna, you really must stop partying, you look white as a ghost, worse white as me! Yet so peaceful, if you didn't breath I'd think you dead or undead." Aluciard joked at first, but then his voice softened at the end with the 'peaceful' part. It's as if he...oh my Silver... after he said all that, he reached out and stroked my cheek so gently. *Dreamy sigh* I never knew Draculas son could be cute AND gentle..."You are as cold as ice...I hope you are alright Anna, we don't need an ill vampire hunter, especially with all the vampires out there trying to kill you." he said, worriedly...as if he cared...*dreamier sigh*. "Don't sleep too long Anna, there are things to be done." he returned to his normal 'I'm busy, got to go' mood. Damnt. I decided to wake up and uh... let him know the news. I sat up and stretched and yawned (real one). "Good morning Anna." Aluciards mood seemed to brighten at my awakening. *Dreamy sigh* (no sighs are out loud) "Oh... good morning Aluciard." I said, trying to act surprised at his presence. "Did you sleep well? You still look pale." He said uneasily, which means he's worrying again, "Maybe going to the living room and sitting down might help." I suggested, hoping he'd take the bait. "Sure, if it will help." I got out of the bed and headed downstairs after Aluciard, who had gone ahead of me. He sat down upon the couch and patted beside him. *Dreamy sigh* I sat down where he had indicated. Here comes a long explanation and probably house arrest. Don't let him be too angry, please. "Ugh... where do I begin? Where, where, where..." I started trying to confess, but this kind of thing is kind of hard to say you know. Aluciard looked at me, coaxing the very truth out "Well, uh... lets start from the beginning. Well, yesterday I was in the pub, drinking wine like normal, and then some crazy vamp comes sliding in, looking for trouble from my point of view. Lilac colored aura, yellow eyes, long black trench coat, black shirt and jeans, long black hair. I was curious, so I wandered out there and then I asked 'what are you doing?' and then, get this, she starts ducking behind the trashcan." I continue, but Aluciard did raise his eyebrows at the trashcan part. "Well, as I was distracted by the stranger, Drake, Lee and Carl show up. Now, I left my whip and sword at home ON ACCIDENT (Aluciard scowled when I said I left them at home), and then Carl lunges forward to fight me while, according to the stranger, Drake and Lee were kept back by her 'shield', which I saw nothing of. Then again I was uh... fighting... or the actual truth. Which is I'm not partying and am NOT tired... I'm actually... well... I got bit. By Carl. Now I'm an immortal vampire hunter." Right now I'm looking down. Who could look up, really? Silence. Crap. I think to myself 'please, please, please' over and over again. Silence. TALK DAMNT! I peek up a little bit. He looks angry. But guilty all the same. And if I'm not mistaken, worried as well. But which ones which? Silence. TALK! DAMNT SILVER, TALK! A small sigh emits from him and I dare to look, giving him the questioning gaze. He's looking away now, to the side "You fought them, without sword, whip or ANY protection, then get yourself turned. *Sigh* Amy is going to kill me. In most likely the worst way possible, it was, and still is, my job to protect you. I failed in a way. *Sigh* who is the stranger, do you know her?" He sounded angry at first, then guilty and worried, now he's questioning me again. Ugh. "No clue," I started "but supposedly she tried to SAVE me, but failed too. I didn't get her name, though she did stop by when you left last night. She told me what had happened, and it came to me in flashbacks." "I'm gonna find this stranger of yours and talk to her. I'll be back." He said, and then got up and simply left me there sitting on the couch. Silence. And no wine. Ugh. Though he is cute, even without the secret pizza boy outfit. *Dreamy sigh* so what I like the son of Dracula, get over it.

I wandered around the town, looking for the stranger, then finally stepped into the bar. And there the lilac colored aura sat. So she is real, but is she truthful, and was she using illusions, mind powers or else wise? She was facing away from the crowd and talking to Jack, the bartender. I sat down beside her and ordered a margarita. Jack wandered off and got my drink, she on the other hand, drank nothing "No drink?" I asked, trying to start some form of conversation. "She glanced my way, and not recognizing my face, "No, but I'm afraid I don't know you, why talk randomly to anyone?" she answered and questioned all at one time, "I have a tendency to do so, mostly out of curiosity, your in a bar, but are not drinking, you face away from the crowd, and don't open your mouth to much." I explained. She looked at me questionly. She has the longest eyelashes and the reddest lips I have ever seen. Odd. She sighed and looked at the bar "You are from here correct?" she asked "Of course." I answered, "Then you know what sort of... beings live here, right?" she asked, looking back up at me. "Yes I do." I plainly said "Well, I am, simply, a vampire, which I am a bit thirsty for the normal food, so I keep my teeth hidden." she pointed out with a small, small smile. Yep, pointed teeth, so far she's not lying. So far. "So what is your name?" I questioned, having a plan to how to get to Anna's story "Victoria Bastia." She answered easily, almost unwillingly. "You are the vampire that tricked the Blazedale right?" I smartly put out "Tricked? I did no such thing." Victoria answered a bit angrily. "Then what is the story, from your point of view?" I asked, ready for an answer filled with lies, "My point of view? Sure. I knew Carl and his stupid buddies were coming to town for a Blazedale, so I hurried in, to the middle of town, to fight them off. I didn't know Anna was in the pub, or curious enough to come out, so I ducked, stupidly trying to hide so she would dismiss my presence. She continued on to my dismay, and there Carl and his buddies, Drake and Lee were to catch her in a weak moment. I did the only thing I could think of, I sent up a shield to ward them off, but it only held Drake and Lee back. Carl got past and bit Anna, turning her, to my alarm. I caught her before she fell, and they ran off, and shouting to me that I couldn't come back to the Forest of the Crescent Bloodmoon. Ever. I took her to an abandoned warehouse so she couldn't wake up and get thirsty. I fixed her up and left, knowing there was nothing else to do for her. I had not known where she had lived, and had heard rumor of the son of Dracula there, and I imagined he would think I had done such a bad deed. And probably wouldn't listen to reasons of what vampire would want an immortal vampire hunter chasing after them. I would have wiped her mind, or made some illusion, but that is not my power, all I can do is control the wind. Which provides no help. I later asked Jack where she lived, and went and found her, since around that time Aluciard, I believe his name is, was out of the house, and I anticipated that she had already told him that I had turned her. I told her what really happened, for SHE didn't even know, and then she ran off. She's back at home I hear, I also know she possibly told Aluciard now. Let him come and find me. I will tell him my story, and let hi m know the truth. As if I could turn a hunter." Victoria finished with a spit of anger. How funny she already has. "Tough. How are you going to make him believe you though?" I asked, searching. She narrowed her eyes, "Is my story really that unbelievable?" she looked up and widened her eyes, as if upset. I thought about it. It did seem truthful. But I still had to check. So I read her mind with ease, and the truth of it was prominent and quite plain. I backed out before she caught me, "No, it is not unbelievable, just simply asking, because after all, he IS the son of Dracula and all, wouldn't he be mean??" I wondered the last part aloud, quite on accident. "He may be the son of Dracula, but he DID turn good you know..." Victoria said, while raising an eyebrow, "I know too well that fact." I said plainly. Time to... oh what is it.... Let the.... Oh...cat out of the...trunk? No bag. She just looked a little questionly at me. "I am Aluciard." I put out. You should have seen the look on her face. Her eyes got so wide, her eyebrows went far up her forehead, and if she had let her jaw drop any farther, it would have hit the floor. "See you later Victoria." I said, then stood, and exited the bar, headed down an alleyway, and called a victim to me and fed.
%uF064 %uF020%uF064%uF020 %uF064
I wandered out of the warehouse, leaving lifeless Anna's body behind, safe and sound. I set up a shield, which once she woke would disappear, it also could not be seen to anyone, not even vampires or other vampire hunters. I wandered around aimlessly, passing some wanna-be-vampires and waved a hello. They waved back, for I do hang out with them occasionally, but continued on. I found myself making my usual route to Jack and the Blood and Moon Pub as it was called. I ambled into the pub and sat at my habitual seat at the bar. "Hello Victoria, bad day?" Jack greeted me and looked at me curiously, "Yes the hunter is dead." I say quietly, facing away from the crowd, but towards Jack, hiding my pointed teeth, for I was thirsty for blood, but did not feel up to hunting right now. "Oh... well I'm sorry 'bout that. Can I get you anything to drink? Other than of course what you would normally drink outside of my pub." Jack carefully said, "No thanks Jack." I said, declining his offer. A few hours passed, and Jack had wandered off, but came meandering back, "You could always go to her house, Anna should be home by now, and Aluciard is out." Jack said, "Aluciard?" I questioned. "Yeah, he's the son of Dracula, but he hated his dad, Dracula, so he agreed to help out the Blazedales and get rid of him. Amy, Anna's cousin, assigned him to protect Anna, so he stays here. I imagine he's being yelled at, unless she doesn't know she's a vampire, then he's out feeding." Jack explained. "Uh huh. Where does she live?" I query, "A few blocks from here, just head toward the forest, it's a big place, can't miss it, it's got a welcome mat out front." Jack directs, I simply raise an eyebrow, but say thanks to Jack, and head out the door. I make my way, heading a few blocks towards the forest, and there it is. A huge 2 story place, the only one on the block, and there the welcome mat sits. Poor unlucky vampires who wander in there thinking they're welcome. I wonder up to the door, and I notice it is quite early, the sun isn't even thinking about rising over the tops of the buildings. Could Aluciard really be gone, and could she really be up? Then noises sound from the kitchen, and I see a figure, quite like Anna's, and no Aluciard. I raise my fist to the door and knock twice. A scrambling of noises and she seems to stand stupidly in the kitchen. I knock two times more. Then she answers; squinting, and I notice how dark the house is inside. You all know what happens, we converse, and she runs off in panic, now to my half of it, what happens afterwards. I stand there, quite surprised, but shake my head, and return to the pub, not wanting to run into Aluciard quite yet. "So how did it go?" Jack asks, as I take my routine seat, "Not bad, she didn't know, so I explained, and she ran off, freaked out." I say simply. "Hmmmm... sounds like fun, anything to drink, or the usual?" Jack asks, knowing full well my usual is nothing. "The usual." I say, seemingly feeling sarcastic, "Coming right up." Jack says with a smile. "I'd join your joke Jack, but I cannot smile in front of a crowd." I point out, "Of course, of course." Jack continues with his joke. I simply smile with no teeth and shake my head. I wonder where Anna ran off to. And if she's gonna tell Aluciard, and if so, when. What about his reaction. I hope he does not come to find and kill me. I wonder what he looks like. He sounds old. Maybe I should ask Jack. He's busy though. I'll find out eventually. Hours pass by and I get curious all the more every minute. Then a new person walks in. Long, black hair down to the guys butt, eyes like chocolate, searching the bar, then he sits next to me. He's about 5' 11" wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and black boots, all together quite normal, except for the hair, and a little cute. You all very well know this conversation as well, so no need to retell. (Continued in next post)

Heck no. (Copyright 2007-2008)

Same book as the last post, random point in book. What do you think?

The Blazedale and Bastia Files (Copyright 2007-2008)
Part One: The Transylvanian Beginning (Warining this is a preview, if you want more, say it!)

This is a random point in the book, that sounded like the best preview. it is a vampire series, right now its 19 pages long in MS word, and still going. There is 7 books all together (working towards 10, 5 per series). Hope you like it. If you want more, i MIGHT just post the story from the beginning on...

Kill me now
Kill me never
I don't love you
As I used to
You were the pride
The light of my life
Then we face strife
You left
I fell
Nothing caught me
Nothing at all
Listen to my tale
Understand my pain
Let someone else
Love me
Today

Time won't tick
I don't feel sick

Shadows haunt me
And I can't find the key

To the lock
So the clock

Will move again
So I can begin

Life
Strife

And all that follows
I don't feel the hollows

In my heart
I can't start

Till I find the key
In me

It goes to the lock
In the clock

So it can move again
And I can begin

Not breath
But death

I am dead
I drink red

Do you know
I can show

My teeth
If not I'll sheath

Them
Succumb to my whim

That I will not make you
Do

For I found the key
In me

By my guest
Go ahead and guess

Just who the key goes to
What can you do
It's you

But will you mind
To wind

The clock
With the lock

Again
So I can begin

Love
That you and I wove

I know love and wove don't rhyme, but it's hard this is my second poem i've ever done.

The Ocean

Sea-foam green mixed with white
Would be any child's delight

All the sparkle, mixed with blue
Would give anybody a clue

The waves rise and swell
Bringing up a sea shell

The waves crash down like thunder, oh so great
No one can debate

The seaweed tickles my toes
Filling all the coves

Big blue, far and wide
To you I never lied

Beauty and grace
Never a disgrace

The ocean
The ocean
